Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
A vintage movie poster reprint of ''Tarzan and the Amazons'', a 1945 adventure film in the Tarzan series, directed by Kurt Neumann and starring Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan. This installment follows the adventures of the iconic jungle hero as he encounters a group of explorers searching for a hidden tribe of Amazon women in the African jungle.
The story begins when a team of explorers, led by Professor Blakely (played by Henry Stephenson) and his daughter Athena (played by Evelyn Ankers), arrive in the jungle in search of the fabled Amazon tribe of women warriors. Tarzan, played by Johnny Weissmuller, becomes involved when he and his chimpanzee companion Cheetah rescue the explorers from a dangerous animal encounter.
As the explorers continue their quest to find the Amazon women, Tarzan becomes concerned about the potential disruption to the jungle's harmony. He must balance his desire to protect his home and its wildlife with the curiosity and ambitions of the explorers....
